I knew this was coming, but it's still a kick to the gut.

I received an email from Amazon today, saying that they are closing down my Associates Affiliate account, because they haven't gotten three qualified sales within a 108 day period.

Once my site starts getting traffic, I'll apply again. It's no biggy. It has to start happening pretty soon, right?... RIGHT? I mean, My site is over 4 months old now. I wonder what happens if someone buys something from my defunct affiliate links? Oh well... time... patience. I need to have them.

What is your niche? Is it an impulse purchase, or might it take a while for someone to decide what to buy?

Remember, Amazon has a one-day cookie, which messes up a lot of people and costs a lot of sales. Before you go replacing all those Amazon links, try some other merchants who offer the same products. Not only will you get much longer cookie lengths, but probably much higher commission as well.

Wildflower,
how do I reach your site on elementor I am currently trying to learn the Pro version now. I would enjoy your insight on how to use it.

If you look at my profile page, by clicking on my picture, you will see in the right-hand side bar, at the very bottom, places where you can follow me. My site is the only link there at the moment.

Just apply again and make as much as possible to generate more traffic to your website. All the best.

It was happened to me once and I am doing 2nd try now. Please reply we will help to go through this this time.

You can re apply.

Unlucky.

Ohh no! That's too bad....but i am confident with this authentic training with WA..you will be up and running stronger than before in no time.. patience is the key word here!!

Not that I promote cheating in any way but, do you have friends that shop on Amazon? Ask them to follow one of your links and then do their normal shopping. They don't have to buy what you're linking to. If someone followed my link to a drone and then bought something (even if it was a pair of shoes) within 24 hours (assuming they didn't follow someone elses link to Amazon between following mine and making the purchase) then I get credit.

Just a thought.

exactly what I did .. my father wanted some movies... and he went onto my site and entered from my affiliate link ... he bought .. and it went onto my credits..

It is a good way to do it.

If you have made good friends here.. I am sure they will be offering to help you out too .. you buy from them .. they buy from you.

Chris

A great suggestion - It's not cheating. A school promotes their Amazon link on their website and ask parents to use it when shopping on Amazon for the sole reason of making the school earn a commission.

I actually did that. I had one sale, and it was from a family member going through my affiliate link. The problem, is that I'm not a pusher. I can't keep pushing the, "remember... the next time you buy from Amazon, use my link!" thing. So people forget. I'd rather wait until I'm getting search engine traffic anyway.
