Low Ticket Versus High Ticket
Low Ticket or High Ticket Products which should you chose? There are arguments for both. I will simply speak from experience. For quite some time I marketed low ticket or low priced things. I was always struggling to make a profit. The idea with low ticket items is to slightly more than cover your variable costs then scale up to make a profit.
I’ve purchased and read several courses that recommend promoting large ticket items. The argument was that you do the same amount of work but for a smaller target market. I haven’t posted for a while because all of my efforts have been on targeting larger ticket items the last several months. The only reason I have time now is because my auto-responder has been under a denial of service attack for the last several days. Ouch.
So, I thought I would give you my opinion on the subject now. In my opinion, it is just as easy to promote high ticket items. By high ticket items, I mean items where I may make several thousand dollars on just one sale. I send out fewer emails. I make the same number of blog posts. But, my profit margins are much higher so, it is easier to make a profit.
In the words of Donald Trump, “I like thinking big. If you're going to be thinking anything, you might as well think big.”
