I begin my journey tomorrow
I was hoping to get started with lesson 4 and actually building my website today before I went to bed so that I could start improving on what I had done tomorrow, but have run out of time and need to get to bed. So I guess I am looking for advise from anyone about starting their first website and what pitfalls I should be looking to avoid.
I am especially interested to hear about anyone who is having success monetizing any video game websites and how they are doing it? Does the new digital purchasing trend appear to make it harder to make money than before? (I know disc sales are still popular and profitable. I am just wondering if anyone has found ways to get affiliate commissions on digital game purchases.)

I don't have experience in the gaming industry, but for building a site one of the big pit falls is making it look the way you want. It's easy to get frustrated when the darn thing just won't go where you want it to. If you run into any problems with that you can search the site for training on specific issues to help you with that or post a community question if you can't find what you're looking for. If all else fails drop me a line.
