Hi guys

Following in from Darren and Nicholas post today I just happened to mention that we should drop a line to our network people. Even if you have a large amount an hour of your time to people you follow may be the best thing that has happened to them this morning or whenever you decide to drop an e mail to them.

We should encourage members of our community all the time. You don't have to live in their pockets but an e mail asking if they are ok or do they need help with anything would be a great start. Some people are quite shy so they don't like to ask questions no matter what anyone says. Saying this a more personal approach from someone who has followed them shows we care for their success at WA.

I joined WA because this was a factor that it was a caring community that it would help. Silence in some people is a cry for help that is never heard. There is a great saying of "pass it on" that's fine but how about "follow up" ? Maybe we should all consider this as we move forward and find the time to send out e mails to our followers so they believe they can have success at WA and be part of happy family.

While we have tech support or ask a question it is not the same as a personal approach to show people they are not alone that they followed you and you are a real person.

It's down to individual now. How would you like an e mail from a follower who takes the time to say " have a great day today. How are progressing? Is there anything I can help with?"

So you all have a great day when you read this the sun in the U.K. has been shining for three days now. We call this our "summer" after Wimbledon it will rain.

All the best people

Steve

Hi Steve and thanks for sharing your thoughts here.

Also thank you for mentioning us in your blog, we have always been people who love to encourage others and give them a lift up in life.

Really enjoyed you post and what you do.

Keep it going and we plan to do the same.

Regards
Darren & Nicola

It is a good thought Steve. Wouldn't that be a thing that happens when we check into live chat?
Just thinking. A lot of times community get togethers happen there.
Ray

Hi no disrespect but how does that work? Never happened to me and it is labelled live help not live community chat.
The idea is what it says and the blog explains about saying hi to your followers. People who wished to be associated with you. Most people want another handshake or friendly word initiated by the person who followed them or they followed.
My years of experience have taught me that and I did this four weeks ago myself to some of my followers and I'll do it again tomorrow.
My understanding is live chat is not s community get together and was not designed for that purpose. It's your choice you don't have to do it but the response I've had is that it was really great someone bothered to reach out. I even had a great response from Carson and from you actually in my blog "what the heck" I believe you said it made your day spreading a little bit of happiness.

Sorry Steve. What I meant was that many times when I have opened Live Chat I have witnessed members just talking, asking how things were or how the other members day was going. That's is community building in my thinking.
I know live chat is to get help and discuss problems but I thought it was neat that some members like to connect with others who are online.
Hope I didn't offend you in any way.
Your idea of connecting through PM's is valid and good, I was just adding thoughts.
Ray

I understand your thought process now no need for apologies you didn't offend me let's get back on track.
Have a great day

I have to confess, my thought process is a little crooked, sometimes its more like a maze than a logic diagram.
Glad we are on the same page and same team.

Always Ray always. Mines a little or actually a lot out of the box too

lol

You are right, just asking how are you, can create an amazing connection, and yes it could just be what some was needing.
I always do all my replies and comments etc before I do any training or website work, paying it forward I just love that philosophy.
🙏
Daisy
