Learning from Rejection or Defeat

One should not be embarrassed about not getting into Kyle's program or anyone else's for any number of reasons. Think of these reasons as alternative ways of thinking. Even if they are not true for you --something you may never have the answer to--considering them can certainly help you feel better!

First, maybe you were rejected because you were too high up the ladder and Kyle thought others would benefit more from his training.

Second, maybe you were just there at the cut off point and barely missed. After all, he couldn't take everyone.

Third, maybe Kyle was looking for someone who might turn defeat into a teaching moment.

And so on... The best thing to do is to add your own alternative thoughts, feel better, and get back to work. After all, you just might benefit from the other WA mentors.

Hi wildflowerG's thanks for sharing and I think you just have to roll with the punches you know nothing is handed to you , if you want success you have to work and disappointment is not a bad thing it helps you get back in the game yes you are going to make mistakes but get over it and keep it going lol Im here for the long haul and I know its going to take time but thats ok because I'm steady learning and making mistakes.

Have A great day!

Hi Alesiah,

You have definitely got the right attitude. You keep on working. I am doing the same. I just need to work harder.

I will be participating in Bo's group and am looking forward to working with him and the group.

Pretty sure most who got in it have shown that they are in this for the long term or have been very active on the platform asking questions, commenting, feedbacks etc. I think a lot of people got in on it but regardless whether you get the more personal help or not its up to us to understand and implement the techniques outlined in the lessons. Its good to post here and in the chat but if that's all you're doing and not taking the time to learn or at least write an article a day and build your site you will never find success in an online business. It takes work and a lot of it. Not getting chosen isn't reason to second guess or assume because that won't build your business. And that's why for two years now I have seen more people leave after being all excited for a few months and then poof they are gone. If you're serious about succeeding you don't need anyone holding your hand. Just my two cents.

Thanks so much for your "two cents" and offering your own alternative thinking to one's not getting into Kyle's group. I believe that everyone will agree to your statements for success here, "It takes work and a lot of it" and "implement the techniques outlined in the lessons." Those are extremely important and have provided the means for many to be successful. There is a lot of information on the site, some of it is old and erroneous or outdated and some of it not so clear, and that leaves us to ask questions of those who have gone before us. Taking advantage of those who are willing to give a lot of time to help us is a good thing.

Thanks for sharing, but defeat is defeat and rejection is rejection. Reasons are well sounded at the end of givers, not receivers who are just not ready or not good enough under the circumstance to catch the opportunity.

Besides me, this is no one's fault. Sweet talk and sympathy are good at the time, but never help anyone but worsening under taking-down own responsibility.

Best to success,

Cheers,

Taking responsibility for our business is very important. Thanks for your input, Chin-Ti. Some take disappointment worse than others and seek to find out what they lack. That makes all of the input on this post important.

Your turn soon is the answer. We are climbing the ladder of life and our turn to rise is on the way. I left school and got a job. I was climbing the ladder. I made it up the ladder, foreman, manager, now retired. Others following took my place. Your turn next.

Sounds like you are saying patience is the best answer here to being rejected for the moment.

I have seen two people that I am sure are part of Bo's gogetters that are also in the super affiliate group. I think they were more than a little greedy by applying for another group that is doing the same thing. This should not have been allowed with the number of members here at WA with these groups being so small.

I did not realize that both groups were covering the same thing; however, my decision to join Bo's group was based on (1) I learned about his first and believed that whatever he did would be more than helpful because he is an ambassador and has been around for a while and (2) I could not commit to more than one group and do justice to both. I am planning to learn from Bo's leadership.

Great thoughts and we all benefit from others in
Lots of positive ways.
Wendy

Thanks, Wendy.

It's great that you put those thoughts into words as many people here may have been thinking the same thing.

I just started here at WA this month so I'm just a newbie watching from the sidelines; however, I do appreciate you addressing these thoughts. These thoughts apply to a lot more than just WA.

Rick

You are right. Those thoughts apply to all aspects of life when we feel disappointed or harmed and even when something good happens. We have a tendency to wonder why it happened to us! Thanks, Rick.

Kyle made this widely available. The tools are here. YOU just have to turn it into something productive for WA

Absolutely!
