Goals for December 2018
Greetings, fellow WA warriors! Happy December!
It's been less than three months since I joined this amazing community, but I've already grown into a number of goals.
A month ago, I shared my goals for November. This was a little intimidating to do. What if I couldn't reach them? Here they are:
- Publish at least four blog posts over 1000 words on my website
- Increase my writing speed from weeks to days per post (it's embarrassing to admit it takes me this long, but it's something I'm working on)
- Edit my personal profile on WA
- Complete my current level of training on WA (Level 3)
- Give back to the community by answering at least one question a day on "Live Chat"
I'm relieved to share I finished the writing, including an 8000-word resource page for my site. The writing has been difficult for me, but I've finally been able to increase my speed. I wrote one of my posts in only a day. I edited my personal profile and completed Level 2 of the WA training as well. I had to adapt my final goal because I don't know enough yet about WA to answer a question every day on "Live Chat," but I did offer support and encouragement on the site daily in other ways.
When the end of November was approaching and I still had a few more posts to write, I thought, "Well, I wrote an 8000 word page. I'll just count that as 4 shorter blog posts." Then I remembered the goal I set and shared publicly with you. I rolled up my sleeves and went to work writing more. Thinking of you cheering me on was incredibly motivating. And knowing you were there if I got stuck gave me confidence to push forward.
Moving on to December, I'd like to accomplish these tasks:
- Publish at least four blog posts over 1000 words on my website
- Look over previously published posts and upgrade as needed
- Complete my current level of training on WA (Level 4)
- Participate actively in the WA community every day
Even with my current small, "ugly duckling" site, I can see myself being able to learn, keep working, persist, and someday have a successful online business. Thanks for your support.

Hi Wendy,
You made me smile because as I kept reading, I was thinking "I'm that way too!", I will need to set goals but as I'm writing my website articles like a turtle, my first planned WA post would be this coming january lol

Wendy while I was reading this thought that this is something I should be doing also. Making a plan and sticking to it is not easy for me either. But again you have so much support on this site that if there is any time you feel that you can't do it or that nobody really is paying attention to whether you do it or not, just look at this and see how many people have responded and read it and understand what you're saying and what you're going through. ☺️
