Greetings, WA Family!Time flies by here at Wealthy Affiliate. I was just notified I received my two-year dedication badge! I had no idea I've been here that long! Joining WA has helped me in so many ways: I've started a writing habit, I've learned about building web sites, and I've met over 6,000 interesting friends from all over the world. Not a bad way to spend the last two years, right?I look forward to many more years here as I pursue my dreams of freedom, discovery, and financial inde

Last month I posted my goals for April. I'm disappointed to say I haven't met them. I'm not going to make excuses for why these goals went unmet because the reasons don't change the fact that I didn't reach my goals.I appreciate the great support and suggestions I got last month when I shared my goals, and I feel I've let you down. Please know that regardless of April's discouraging results, I appreciate that you're there to share experience and offer accountability.I'll be posting goals for M

April is a time for renewal in many places around the world. I hope the change in seasons renews your strength and determination to achieve your dreams. :)When I first joined WA, I decided I'd post new goals every month for accountability from my WA family. Well, I missed March because life got in the way. But now I'm back to share my goals for April:Publish 8 blog posts: 4 keyword-based and 4 product reviews. It sounds so easy when I put it that way, but actually writing these posts will be

I met the goals I set for January, and I think it's time to raise my productivity. In February, I'll publish 8 posts to my blog. (And I hope to keep raising this number as I gain experience.) I also need to get a small home office set up in February. I'm increasing my number of monthly posts because challenging myself is the only way I can think of to keep up my enthusiasm during this period of working hard and not getting paid..Wishing you all great success,Wendy

I've been here on WA for about 3 1/2 months, working hard learning and writing for my site. But if casually asked by someone I just met, "What do you do?" I wouldn't know how to respond in a few words. I'm not thinking about an "elevator speech" that describes my skills and their benefits. I'm wondering more about a brief title that clues people in about what I'm up to.Everyone knows what a nurse, carpenter, or scientist is. Am I an internet marketer? (I hope not because it might seem as

Greetings, and happy 2019! Last year my goals involved working on my mindset surrounding finances and success. I had specific goals under this umbrella, but even so, mindset is abstract and it’s a challenging part of myself to focus on. Results can be hard to notice. I started in January 2018, and at certain times I was more dedicated than at others. But I kept working on it. Long story short, I don’t believe it was an accident that I found out about WA in September and checke

Last month I was able to accomplish the goals I set. Yea!January 2019 will be more challenging for me because I’ll be adding another layer of responsibility to my routine. My father-in-law will be moving into our home in January. He’s in his 80s and lost his wife of 30+ years in April. My goal for January is simply to maintain the productivity I’ve had for the last few months as I add the tasks of getting him settled in his new home and showing him around his new town. In

Greetings!I'd like to send out a quick message to the community about my progress on Wealthy Affiliates over the past two and a half months. At first, I was having problems writing long (1000+ word) posts. Writing them took forever. I wondered how I'd ever be able to succeed in a business model that depended on producing lots of content. It turns out I was simply out of the habit of writing, and some very wise WA members advised me that faster, more productive writing sessions would come with

Greetings, fellow WA warriors! Happy December! It's been less than three months since I joined this amazing community, but I've already grown into a number of goals. A month ago, I shared my goals for November. This was a little intimidating to do. What if I couldn't reach them? Here they are:Publish at least four blog posts over 1000 words on my websiteIncrease my writing speed from weeks to days per post (it's embarrassing to admit it takes me this long, but it's something I'm working on)
