4D Equation-Simplified Way to Do Less and Achieve More.
Sir Isaac Newton in his studies created an equation for kinetic energy or the energy for doing the work. His equation shows that kinetic energy is directly proportional to the mass of an object and the square of the speed. If the mass of the object is constant, then when your increase the speed by 1, your will require 4 times or 9 times or 16 times the energy. I could not understand this formula when I was doing grade 9, but understood when I was at University.

There is too much information (#tmi) and too much little knowledge (#tmlk). It is easier to google and find basic facts. We live in the age of the gurus and experts who are there trying to offer some expertise. We find ourselves looking for the secret formula to success.
This formula nor secret of success, but it is a common sense simplified. I bumped into this information when I was reading a book called the power of focus by Jack Canfield and Mark Hansen. The first time I read this book I did not understand it, but when I was reading the book for the second time, then I noticed its similarity to Newton's formula and I wrote as shown below. I began to practice it in my personal life. When I was appointed as a project manager, I inscribed in my office and most engineers wanted to know where did I study it.
4D Equation Simplified
Dump It
Is this the most important task that must be done?
Do your really have to do it?
If not, then just dump it.
Delegate It
If your have to or it is import thing to be done, then the following question is important to ask.
Am I the only person who can do it?
Must it be done be me?
If the answer is "No", then your can delegate.
Defer It
If your answer is "Yes", then your are stuck with it. But your still have another question to ask.
"Must it be done now?"
Is it urgent and important?
If your answer with a "No", then your can simply put it a tray for later. Remember, it is important but it is not urgent.
Do It Now
your answered with a resounding "Yes", it is clear that this task is urgent and important. Then your must do it immediately.
"Practice makes permanent"
"We make our habits then Our Habits Make Us"
Exercise:
What is the one activity that your know if your do superbly well and consistently would have a significant positive result in your own personal life?
If your know these things would make such a significant difference, why are your not doing them now?
CONCLUSION
Everything is just a suggestion until your begin to entertain it or study it then it becomes an idea.
When your study an idea, it becomes an ideology. At this stage people are more willing to kill for their ideologies.
When your believe your ideology, it becomes theory. Belief bring worship, adore, serve, dedication and many more. Theo is a Greek word for god.
When your fall in love with your theory it becomes a philosophy. The Greek word phileo would mean affectionate love or simply love. Philosophy creates the premise of how your do things which is what is known as a paradigm. I
There is no formula for success or any secret, but your are at liberty to choose what really works for your.
4D Equation helps me to simplify my decision. It is a way to trigger my consciousness and my power to focus on what is most important.

I read a Jack Canfield book called The Success Principles about 20 years ago. I loved it. I remember when I strolled by the book in Waterstones. A line on it caught my eye...if you keep on doing what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got. I may be paraphrasing a little, but it really hit home to me.
Unlearning....that has worked for me lately. In the sense of letting go of old beliefs and questioning everything.
The world has become much more fascinating to me.
