What Do You Do When You Make A Mistake In Your Domain Name
10
Almost a year ago, I came up with an idea for a website and was so excited I immediately went on WA to see if it was available. It was. However, in my excitement to purchase this .com domain, I mistakenly added an extra 's' in a word. And bought it! Of course, I had to make another purchase, this time with the correct spelling.
So, here's my question - both domains are now up for renewal in early February. Do I renew both domains or do I let one go? The obvious asnwer is "let the wrong one go" BUT, they are so similar, which is why I made the mistake in spelling and didn't catch it.
I would really like an expert opinion on this as renewal time is close.

Actually I've bought some domain names which could be misspellings of one I have. It's sort of a variation of buying the .net version of your .com site. If you can afford it, keep it and redirect it to the correct one for a year or two. See how much traffic you are getting from the wrong one, then evaluate it and see if it's worth keeping.
Hi Jeannine. Thanks for responding. I did decide to keep it and paid for it this morning. So I am stuck with it :). I will keep your suggestion in mind though when I am ready to develop it.
