I do not think re categorizing should cause you any trouble. It is changing the Permalinks that cause errors.
Hello Trialynn! Thanks for responding :) I thought changing the category could also cause problem as Google index category as well if I set it as such.
Does this help at all? No index the categories you remove
The next time Googlebot comes around, it'll see that it can crawl /category/. It will then note the "nonindex" and remove the /category/ pages from the index.

Hello Everyone!
Need your help!
I have a warning message from Google Webmaster Tools as follows:
Issue: Url blocked by robots.txt.
Hi Yen,
I have no idea myself, but this link might help.

Hi Peter,
I checked the link out but still have no idea how to solve my problem. Hopefully someone can advise on the exact steps...
Thanks, Yen
Are you using a plugin to generate that sitemap? If so go into the plugin and see if there is a setting for you to exclude an URL from being included in your sitemap. If there is add that URL.
Hi ThomasPaul! Thank you for helping out. I am using Wordpress SEO. May I know how to detect the URL that is causing this problem? Thanks, Yen

Hi! I am using Hostgator for my existing websites. Can I use the hosting provided by WA for my websites if I upgrade to a premium member? If yes, is there any additional cost fo
If you are a Premium Member, their is much you can do. Not sure if Hostgator will cause problems, but if you own your Domain, you can start a website here on WA with that Domain. Even if you have to copy and paste every in Hostgator to the WordPress here on WA. Hope this helps answer your question. Otherwise I would contact WordPress support and tel them what you want to do. Good Luck!
If you are using Webstart, Not sure about transferring to WA who uses WordPress. I would contact WordPress help and tell them your situation. I am sure they can help you have your question answered. Good Luck!

Is your site WordPress. Yes, you can transfer your sites to WA. I used another hosting company and transferred all my sites to WA, no problem. With Premium membership you can have as many sites as you want. It is unlimited hosting and an excellent hosting service.

Hi Jude,
Yes, it is WordPress site. Thank you for letting me know, appreciate it. Btw, do you need to pay for the transferring of files?
