"To Write or To Promote" That is the Question?
I'm sure Shakespeare won't mind But some days I just get confused. I have a check list to follow but by the time I get to item 3 I'm off course! I want to promote my sites; I need to write more posts on my sites; I need to expand my network; I need answer comments and Questions; I need a DRINK! LOL
This WA community is so great and the depth of ideas is so over whelming, Heck just reading Tony Hamilton's stuff and ideas can take up the morning, LOL (no offense Tony)
Almost to the 3 month marker here at WA and I still haven't got around to promoting WA for referral credits. What to do?
I think I'll just take a break today and reboot in the Morning.
Have you ever had a Day like this?
William :)

It's a catch 22 situation William. Let's be frank here, the majority of members join mainly because they want to make money. So what was your reason for joining and what is the first thing that comes to mind when you start your work each day? Do the thing that will significantly progress your need or desire. By whatever means available to you. "Never leave for tomorrow that which you can do today." ( Benjamin Franklin not Shakespeare!)
Well said, l gave up checklists long time ago,got to a point where checklists were even confusing me,l now do what l can when l can and not feel sorry if l can not reach any goals, tomorrow is another day lol
I couldn't agree more with the comments already made and your post above William. Sometimes I get in the creative mood and can write and write and write......the, I get mental block and know it's time to do some social media marketing and backlink investigations.
I try to stick to the 80-20 rule - 80% content building and 20% marketing, but my website is at a good point and I can now flex that quite a bit either way.
Great blog post William, no offense taken my Friend.
It is definitely a process & I am now getting it down to a science.
With less blogging, I have more time to connect and comment on Friends' posts & websites.
Thank You William for the spotlight,
Tony
Isn't that a soap opera William?
I was more of a General Hospital man myself back in the 80's
I don't watch TV these days, there's too many blogs to write, sites to promote & Friends to help do the same....

William, My day job business is making custom log furniture. I make some very unique items, most of what I create is one off, there is not another one like it anywhere nor will there ever be!
I have found that I need several projects going at the same time? The reason is the creative juices may not be flowing on one project but I may get a idea on the other one!
I am excited about what we are doing here at WA because my office is at one end of my studio?
That means I can now work in the studio, and when I get stuck, I can come in here to the computer and work at this til I get stuck here!
Either way I am being productive!
Thanks great post!
Thanks James, I do the same routine with my projects. William :)
