Rome was not built in a day - My progress thus far

3 weeks ago I joined Wealthy Affiliate and started a journey on building a website that I hope to earn a full time income from, but I know I still have a lot to do before that happens.

So I am being very optimistic.

So far I have been able to put up a website online with its own domain name - websitestartuptips.com

I have managed to put up 4 pages of content around my niche.

In a few words the site is to help beginners pick and make them aware of every possible tool out there that they can leverage in putting their websites online. I also intend to put up helpful tips related to putting up a website online.

I have enjoyed every minute I spend here at Wealthy Affiliate, I love how engaging, interactive and helpful the community is.

Haven't made my first dollar yet so putting in here for reference, I hope to update that in the near future :),

3 weeks gone : Revenue $0

I must say it hasn't been all smooth sailing, when I first set out to write my first article I was just blank, had no idea idea what to write. Kept wondering when those 300 referrals count would come down.

But looking back now its only been 3 weeks, I guess I have learnt quite alot, it feels like I've been here at WA forever.

My first post, I consider to be a failure and I thank my mentor Frank and Kyle for letting me know. Well they didn't really tell it to my face but from their comments I could tell they weren't too excited about what I had written.

Anyways I went back to the drawing board, looked at other blogs how they were structured, how easy it was to read and I slowly adopted those techniques into my posts.

After reposting I got these comments from them

I felt like jumping, so I consider this one of my successes .

Moving on I want to thank each and everyone who sent me feedback and comments on my website.

Just seeing those new emails to approve comments was just exciting :)

I think I'll stop here, I know everyone is busy building their businesses.

But before I go I want to share my 3months - 6months goals.

Within 3 months I want to have organic traffic flowing through my website and be able to put up other affiliate adds. Oh and to make my first $1.

Within 6 months I want to at-least have made 100 referrals .
