Wealthy affiliate posts as an affiliate income source?

Just thinking how we can leverage the rich content present within the WA site itself and turn that into a direct referral for us? Have created a website to promote WA but wondering if I share direct affiliate links from say an informative article within WA, can / should that be used as a source to gain referral?
