Happy new year and some thoughts for 2017.

It's 2017 and I want to appreciate the opportunity of building an online business here at WA.

This new year I am working towards fine-tuning and focussing my online business in the niche. Although, I have found out that anytime we want to find problems and solutions in our respective niches that it can be a challenging task that requires more time, patience and more research.

As for me, it has taken some time to identify a problem and its solution that could help my audience in making an informed decision when it comes to the product I am promoting.

What I have learned is that creating content that resonates with the needs of your audience is not very easy and it takes time to understand your persona characteristics and the type of information they may want to consume.

As a result, I have come up with the following understanding which could be helpful to some bloggers:

1.Know your industry in general, but focus on the specific issue you are trying to solve and learn from others that are already working on a similar issue like yours, if there are people working on similar issues.

2. Know your audience (persona) characteristics and what kind of information they may be looking for.

3. Research for tools that will help you increase productivity and hence your ROI, in terms of the processes you have and your desired outputs.

4. Learn, engage and be updated on the trends in your specific niche. Social media such as twitter can be a great platform to start with.

5. Help your audience by sharing information that will help them solve problems or find new ways of doing things or that can be beneficial to them.

These are just some thoughts I have which you might find useful to get started in 2017.
