My Moanies

As posted, I barely make ends meet on a teacher's salary which is based on a beer budget, when I clearly have champagne taste. Yes, like some, I live pay check to pay check, which is obviously no way for anyone to live at least not comfortably. Surviving gets exhausting and debilitating. Today I played the "Joker" walking around with a fake plastered smile on my face so my co-workers, much less my students, wouldn't see how upset I was about living this way. Especially knowing at 7:30 this morning that the bank sent my paycheck back to my employer thus making me wait another week to get paid. There goes paying my bills on time and my weekend six-pack. So what to do now? I tell you what I did! I went on Wealthy Affiliates read posts and did a webinar too!

Picker Uppers

I want to thank this community of friends and family for being kind, generous, helpful, caring, cooperative, and good listeners, When I came home feeling broke and disgusted, I did now wallow in my sorrow. I started reading many of your posts. Posts that were funny and uplifting. Posts that got down to business. Others were informative with free golden nuggets for the taking. Others were boasting about their accomplishments and some vented about life's trials and tribulations. All had one thing in common Wealthy Affiliates. Thanks for changing my monies into a testimony. Your posts made a world of difference today and changed my perspective and reaction towards my negative situation. Funny how one word used by today's webinar hosted by magistudios influenced my way of thinking just by using one word in particular mindset. He is so right to say mindset is the key to opportunities. Change your mindset and you will change your outcome. Thanks for that golden nugget magistudio.

The Climb

Life's obstacles are bumps in the road not meant for a set back but for a comeback. I believe that it doesn't matter where one comes from but where one ends up. When one hits the bottom there's no other way but up. As Myle Cyrus so eloquently sings it, What matters is "The Climb!" Enjoy the lyrics perhaps it will change mindsets.
