The Newbie Zone -- Micro Niche Finder Review

I recently purchased Micro Niche Finder and a friend asked me what I thought about it.  Sure, I could just tell her ... but I'd rather share it with all of my WA buddies.

Ya know I love ya! lol

 What Is Micro Niche Finder?

Micro Niche Finder is a paid keyword research tool.  It gathers a bunch of data from Google, Yahoo, and Microsoft to help you determine if a keyword phrase is worth your time and effort to target.

Why Would I Want Micro Niche Finder When I Can Perform Keyword Research With Free Tools?

Free tools are great and I've used them for keyword research.

In fact, I think it's important to understand how to perform keyword research using the free tools before you purchase a paid keyword tool.

But ... you couldn't pry Micro Niche Finder out of my cold dead hands now. lol

Micro Niche Finder saves me hours of time when I'm doing keyword research.

I know how to use the free tools, but it still takes me a lot of time to log all the data into a spreadsheet and analyze the competition for each keyword phrase.

Now Micro Niche Finder does it for me.

It's got this great feature called Strength of Competition (SOC).

When you find a keyword phrase that looks promising, you click Get SOC and it goes out and analyzes the competition for you.

It comes back and gives you a number from 1 to 1000.

If the SOC number is below 50, Micro Niche Finder gives you a green light so you know you should consider targeting that keyword phrase.

If the SOC number is above 50, it gives you a yellow light if you should be cautious or a red light if the competition is just too strong.

You just don't realize how powerful this feature really is until you've used it.

It actually encourages me -- and gives me the confidence -- to take action.

If I see a green light, I know it's go time.  I can move forward and know I've got a good chance of ranking high for that keyword phrase.

That's a huge advantage because it helps me take more action -- and taking more action produces more results.

Another great feature is the Measure of Backlinks (MOB).

When I click Get MOB for a keyword phrase, Micro Niche Finder will go out and analyze the number of backlinks in the top 10 rankings and give me an estimate of how many backlinks I'll need to break into the top 10.

If it's a low number (50 or less), I can probably build those pretty quickly.

But if it's going to take me 3,598 backlinks, I know it's going to be a long-term project.  It might be worth it for a really lucrative keyword, but I'll probably just move on to another keyword phrase.

Micro Niche Finder has a lot of great features.  These are the ones I use every day:

  • it saves all of my keyword searches in an alphabetical list so I can come back to them at any time
  • it lets me create new projects and add any keyword phrase I find to them so I can customize my research
  • it helps me find clickbank products to promote for a keyword phrase
  • it helps me find other affiliate products to promote for a keyword phrase
  • it finds articles on Ezine Articles using a keyword phrase
  • it can export my keyword lists as a text file or an Excel spreadsheet

What Don't You Like About Micro Niche Finder?

The only thing I really don't like is I can't run searches for hours and hours on end.

If you run a lot of searches in a very short period of time, Google will send you to the corner and give you a timeout. lol

It's not a big deal because Micro Niche Finder has a background service where you can run searches much slower over a long period of time.

If I wanted to research 700 keywords, for example, I could turn the background service on and let it run all night while I'm sleeping.

I could ramble on and on about it, but I'd rather you just watch the videos for yourself.

They do a much better job of showing you how Micro Niche Finder can help you, too.

Thanks Roy.Seems a worhwhile investment. .. will save for it...Lol

It's worth the price to me, J. And I'm a frugal bastard ... just ask my friends. ;-)

I can spend hours and hours analyzing keyword results ... or I can spend those same hours creating new websites and writing more content.

Yeah, I agree with you, Andy. If I'm building a complete multi-page website, I would target all green and yellow keyword phrases that make sense for it. Even if I don't rank high for one of the keyword phrases, it gives me the opportunity to build more backlinks to my website.

Great review Roy. Even I have the software and I completely agree with you on all the points. And you know what, I built a website before I purchased and got to the first page. And when I checked the MNF for the keyword I ranked for, guess what the SOC was? 286. Yeah. So from the very little experience I have, I would recommend anyone who buys the software to not just depend on the SOC to analyze your competition, you should also check out the sites that rank on the first page of Google for the keyword (without quotes).

Thanks Roy. Sounds worth it. J.
