Problems I am having
I need assistance with a few things and the community is not coming to my rescue. I know everybody is dealing with there own stuff. But if some one could help me I would be grateful. I've tried to find the answers on my own, with no luck.
1. I put the plug In Super Socializer into my theme to get the Social Media icons, but then realized the theme already had the icons, do I remove Super Socializer and use the icons already in the theme.
2. My theme has 3 search boxes, one to the right and two at the bottom, is that ok, or should two be removed and how do I do that?
3. When I add a page or want to edit, I only get one line of edit icons, not two, 2nd one that starts with (paragraph) that I do not get.
Maybe this is not the place I should be airing this, this was my last resort. So if you happen to read this and can help me I would forever be grateful. trytrialwa.com

Hi again Judy - just read your blog again and I may also be able to help with your third question.
If I am getting this correctly you mean that you are missing the icons for headings and text colour etc?
to turn these on you need to go to the funny looking box icon on the icons that you can see, should be at the far right of all the icons, and hover your cursor over it -you should see the words "Toolbar Toggle" appear. If you do see that - then that's the correct box and if you click it the second line of icons (the so called "kitchen sink") should then appear for you.

Hi Judy - I can perhaps help you with your search box issue as I had the same problem until someone pointed it out to me....
I went into my dashboard and into "appearance" and then clicked through to "widgets" on the drop down menu.
This took me to the widgets page where I had a "main widget area" and a "secondary widget area"
If you have these it should tell you which is for widgets in the "footer" section of your site and the other may say something like "posts in the side bar"
When I looked at these on my site I had a "search box" on both of these areas and simply opened up and deleted the one I didn't want.
I decided to get rid of the one in the footer section as I think a search bar should be higher up the page.
You will also see on the same page "available widgets" that you can add to your page by simply drag and dropping them to the widget area you want to put them into.

Sounds like Kevin has some good suggestions you might try. Also ask some of your questions in the "Need help?" question bar above. There is a lot of training here to draw on and Kyle has several courses on building your website.
