Do you take vacation?
It's vacation time!! Right?
Have you taken vacation this summer?
I tried. I just came back from a week in Italy.
Ok, I did enjoy the time away, with family dispite the corona threat. The problem was that I had difficulties to relax from "my business". I wanted to check email all the time, do training, learn even more about the subject Online Marketing. I found that my mind was always on what my next step could be.
Am I the only one feeling this way? Do you as an Online Marketer feel you can't take vacation/or be offline for a few days, affraid of missing something?
I have been all over the place for a while, but finally getting my sh_t together with a type of "plan of approach"
Is this a newbie problem (I am a newbie), or is it a personality type of probelm?
Does the more experienced marketers have a more relaxed attitude and have no problem to "stay away" for a week or so?
I do understand that you need to put in the time at the beginning of your journey, and I really enjoy doing it and learning new things all the time.
But I am also looking forward to those days when I have set my routine, can work less than the standard 8 hours (I have soooo many other interests that I want to find some time for..) and feel totally relaxed about what I am doing or need to do.
If you have suffered the same problem, will it pass? Do you have any tips or tricks to share? If so, I am all ears :)

The enthusiasm to get your business up and running in the beginning is something I remember well.
It’s great having the enthusiasm, which of course you absolutely do need to help you succeed, but you must also try to not rush in too much and take one step at a time.
I remember someone on the platform saying that building an online business is a marathon and not a sprint. This is a good way to look at it, and is a good reminder to not get ahead of yourself.
As you progress you won’t be overly concerned about taking a vacation. It’s the work you put in when you’re not on vacation that really matters.
I hope you enjoyed your visit to Italy, it’s a beautiful country.

Ray
You are right! I remeber reading about it. That it is not a sprint, more like a Marathon.
Then I hope I will be able to adapt, I am a runner and I have been running a few Marathons, so I know you have to houshold with the energy, and to fine more (energy and support) along the way, to make it to the finishing line.
Thanks for the reminder!

Maybe that is the case. Then I for sure hope I am of that breed :). Time will tell.
