Albert Einstein is On to Something. And So Am I
Mr. Entein Helped Me Reach New Heights in My Self-Awareness
You see, knowledge, in and of itself, means nothing without action. I've been so busy learning - because that's what a good student does - that I have allowed myself to get caught in the trap of thinking acquiring knowledge was the most important action I could take to figure this whole marketing out.
The creative in me always throws ideas all over my intellectual path and I trip right into another distraction. The crazy part is, I have actually believed those distractions were necessary for progress BEFORE I took productive action.
I know I have to accept that I am a creator. Perhaps it's in the DNA of teachers. But, for goodness sake, as I move towards the later years in life, I need to learn how to control that beautiful beast!
Over the years I have had many rewarding experiences in my hobby blogging and many lessons learned (by lessons I mean lost blogs and cash that flew out the window.)
Here Are the Lessoned I've Learned
- First of all, I learned being a student never ends and sometimes that means telling your ego to shut up and sit down!
- Second, I learned that imperfection is better than mastery. Mistakes are the greatest teacher.
And most importantly,
- I learned that action the most important cog in the system of success. Thoughts with out action do not become things!

Because of this revelation - call me a late bloomer - I have decided to put my ego aside and dedicate myself to accountability through weekly progress posts.
If my results are far less than typical, I'll have to own it and change my course as needed. Each week for the next few months will reveal to myself, if I can move beyond the knowing and advance to growing into understanding through experience based on action and outcomes and become a successful marketer.
I will no longer live on Fantasy Island!!!

Okay, so the time has come. Time to put on my cape of courage and work to become a superhero of action and save my world. After all, of a superhero can't save themselves, that can't help anyone else. The time has come to go out there and try something new..

AMEN!!! I absolutely love learning, but often times when it comes to implement it I get bored and move on to something else new. I'm sure a lot of people would say that I have a lot of 'useless' knowledge, but I would say it's really just knowledge I haven't put to use yet and that's on me. I'm not without my accomplishments, but I've probably only accomplished a fraction of what I should have if I followed through a lot more.
That's a big part of why I came here. I just started a large new project that I wanted to 'the one', and I was looking for a community with the same interests I have to help keep me focused. I'm just getting started here, but so far it has really helped.
Committing to accountability is great. I look forward to see how you progress.
