Viola, I have never used codes for my featured image.
At your post or page editor, look towards the right side columns. You'll see Categories, Publish, Tag and then Featured Image. Try that instead and see if it works like how you wanted.

Hi guys, I am trying to add an amazon pic to my post. On amazon's website, it has a HTML for Image Only. It says "Highlight and copy the HTML below, then paste it into the code
Did you sort this out...you should paste the code when in the text mode not visual, when you go back you will see a grey shaded box, you have to do a preview to see the actual image. :))
Someone gave me this tip. Where you want your image to be within your content put 4 xxxx......Then go to the text tab where you see all the code. Look for the 4 xxxx, paste your Amazon html code where the 4 xxxx are. :)
Do you have an ad blocker turned on? If you do, Viola, you won't see it until you turn it off. And make sure you are pasting into the text tab.
Hi Carla, I just saw your message above. I am having great trouble pasting Amazon code into my post. I don't have any problems with the other affiliate companies that I have joined.
Should I still check to see setup to see if I have an ad blocker turned on? Would I find this under "settings" on my laptop?
I have wasted so much time on this. It's crazy. Amazon told me to the Link Builder plugin but again, when I went to copy and paste the Access Key and Secret Access Key I couldn't paste.

If you've done it right, it will show a blank where the image should be. Go to your website, refresh if you need to, and it should be there. Michelle

Hi Viola - this could have something to do with theme you've chosen and to get the effect you're looking for you might need to change. I use the 'Spacious' theme which shows a photo and only a snippet of text for each blog. It might help if you ask this question but mention the name of your theme too as there might be a way round it? Hope this helps :)

"Uh-oh, you don't have any lists defined! Please visit
I realize this is an old question, but what did you finally decide to do? I am currently studying MailChimp and finding it pretty complicated.
I have read that Aweber is much easier to use but it is only free the first month whereas MailChump is free for up to 2000 list members and 12000 emails per month.
Plus, you should read MailChump's Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy. They really don't like the work at home industry and many others.
