My 1st anniversary as a member was actually on Saturday, but it’s taken me this long to sit down and write this post! I celebrated this milestone over the weekend, and reflected a lot too. I wrote so much stuff down on paper while doing this, so here is a few of my thoughts after my first year here:From the start, I expected to put in some hard work while getting this business up and running. I certainly didn’t expect to be able to pack in my job overnight! In reality, it’s be

This actually happened last night, but I wasn't able to post it because of the technical issues on WA......Anyway, I was doing some keyword research when I found this at the bottom of the first page:(my highlighting) I know it’s from G+ rather than a direct link to my post, but it still made my day!To be honest, I’m still excited about it now!! This has given me even more motivation (like I needed it...) to keep going here. I don't know what else to say but WOW!!

So I went onto Google Analytics today, and saw that I’d got a little bit of traffic to the site. This is great news, I thought. When I had a closer look at where the traffic was from, and which posts are getting it, something didn’t feel right. Most of the new visitors over the past month (65% of them) were from the city I live in, and some of my top 10 posts listed had some strange-looking permalinks like this:/?p=390&preview=trueI checked whether I’d put my IP address in

It's not quite my 6-month anniversary here, as that was on Sunday, but we're pretty close...I'm not sure what to say apart from 'wow!!!'. I feel I’ve learned SO much already while being here, and the amount of support and expertise here is amazing. Of course, there’s so much more yet to know. What an experience this has been so far – let’s see what the next six months here has in store!!

I’ve just completed Course 2, and I now have a website that’s looking quite good. Even though it’s taken longer than I thought it would (due to work and other stuff), I’m really proud that I’ve kept going and kept perservering. Over the last couple of days, I’ve been thinking about what I want to achieve next. As well as continuing to be consistent with posting content and sharing it on Google+, my main goal is to start getting an income from my website wit

Hi everyone! Thought I’d finally write a little something about my progress here so far.My main focus has been on being more consistent with posting content, as well as following the training. I’m still in my job as well as continuing to build up the business. Things have been going well here, and I suppose my progress has been steady, if slower than I'd ideally like. That's about it, really. I'll update again as soon as I reach another milestone. All the best for your continued succ

I've been here just over a month now, and I'm still enjoying it here! I've been off work this week, so it's been great to have more time to spend on the training and building up the website. Something offline (but business-related) I have done, though, is to double-check my tenancy agreement to see if it's OK to work from home. It is something I could've checked earlier, I know, but I have been swept up in starting up the business itself and holding down my job. Hopefully it should be OK.Also,

Wow...where to begin? Firstly, I know I've made the right decision to come here. I've really enjoyed learning about how to build an online business on solid foundations, while writing about things that I enjoy. At the weekend, I had a bit of time to reflect on all that's happened so far. I really needed that time to get my head round the reality that I have started on the road to self-employment, and I'm doing it alongside my current job. After following Kyle's directions in Course 1 and buildi
