Aloha WA!!

Can you believe it's already June?! We are finally getting back to normal again. Although, it was a crazy year for us (myself and the family) we were very fortunate to have been working throughout this pandemic. I am in healthcare and my husband is in fire prevention. And we are so grateful to get things back to normal.

Goodbye!!

I say, aloha to not knowing the outcome. Aloha to wearing masks that covered your beautiful faces. Aloha to greeting family and friends with an elbow shake instead of a hug or kiss. Aloha to not relaxing or swimming at the beach. Aloha to not traveling out-of-state or visiting other countries.

When I look at my chosen image, I smile, because Aloha means so much to so many people. The dictionary states this Hawaiian word is used when greeting or parting from someone.

But it's so much more than that!

The Hawaiian word "Alo" means "presence" or "share" and the Hawaiian word for "Ha" means "Breath of Life" or "Essence of Life."

So together it is about your experience with life, your interaction with life, in life, and how you share and experience it with others. The expression of different feelings like love, joy, peace, kindness, gratitude, pity, compassion, and grief.

So it's my greetings to you for taking the time to read my blog. And welcoming you after a long, long gap away from this community. The return of favorite businesses, restaurants, and reopening of activities and sports arenas.

Also, I want to say Mahalo Nui Loa which means thank you very much, in advance, for all the help and kind words you have shown me. I wish you much success in Life!
