Can you believe it?!

It is finally the end of the year. In 12 days the NEW Year will be here and 2020 will just be another year gone.

I think this year was the calm before the storm type of year. I say this in a sense of it not being a greater disaster is to come, but a better year to come.

The calm part is having to put our lives on hold for this pandemic. Businesses were told to close or limit the number of people able to enter into their establishment. A strict quarantine was set in place for those wanting to enter the islands.

And the storm part is the opening up again and starting over or fresh again. People are staying safe by wearing their masks in establishments, getting tested and vaccinated to keep themselves safe from others, and spreading the Aloha spirit to others

Last year I was trying to decide what I wanted to focus my time on. It was a toss-up between the job I work 9-5 as a pharmacy technician and the job I want to be as an affiliate marketer.

This is how I see my future - writing and learning about it as an affiliate marketer. And being able to create an income for myself and my family - passive income. I know I can do both if I focus and stay structured to giving each time every day or every other day.

I find myself constantly thinking about ways to better my income. I see so much more opportunity with online affiliate marketing than with my day-to-day job. I even compare them together even though they are two different categories.

But at the same time, I love working as a pharmacy technician, I enjoy helping my patients and I love the sense of completion when we work together as a team to accomplish our daily tasks each day.

Would you have any advice to share or how you handled a difficult decision? =)

I had a friend who was determined to switch careers, so she set up a very strict schedule. She spent 8 hours each day working on her regular job, then 4 hours on her desired job. She had a plan on how she was going to do each step, and followed it exactly. At the end of 6 months, she was ready to make the transition.

Affiliate marketing may take longer than 6 months, as your articles need to get traction, but perhaps this tight schedule could work for you.

Thank you Jeannine for your comment. It really helps me put things into perspective. I agree it may take longer than 6 months. I think I may have to figure out a schedule that works. Ty!!

I see, friend. First, you must assess your current situation. Do you really need your 9-5 job? Are you that passionate about it? If you are, then let affiliate marketing be your part-time gig.

If you are trying to leave your current 9-5 job soon, then you must put in the necessary time to develop and grow your affiliate marketing business. When you start to get a decent monthly income, then you could do your 9-5 job part-time.

If you are making more than ever before with affiliate marketing, then it's time to leave your 9-5 job for good. This can bring you the freedom you need. And remember, affiliate marketing can go wherever you go. That's the coolest thing about this business.
All the best!

I think right now we still do need my 9-5 job because it’s a source of income. Although not our primary income.

And I like how eventually we could make our 9-5 job into a part-time or maybe lessen the amount of hours I work there. Or just, work until I start to make an amount to replace or double my 9-5 job.

Thank you John for broadening my horizons. So I can look at more options.

Hello Viki!

It sure is nice to hear from you and you are doing a great job by helping patients and each other to complete each work day. Which can be a difficult task but you are doing really well.

All the best,
Myra

Thanks Myra!

You are doing a good job helping your patients. And that's where your passion lies. It's always good to focus on what you find interesting.
You can have a website in line with what you do, write about your experience as a pharmacist, provide answers to people's queries and suggest your affiliate products as a solution.
You don't have to leave the job; try doing it together.
All the best.

I figured I wanted to keep it separate and didn’t know what I could promote or review for a pharaoh technician. Now with your thoughts, there are a bunch of stuff I can review or compare or write about.

Game Changer. Thank you Muslims!

Perhaps an answer from a big biz influencer -- Jim Rohn:

“Let others lead small lives, but not you.. Let others argue over small things, but not you.. Let others cry over small hurts, but not you.. Let others leave their future in someone else's hands, but not you.” ---Jim Rohn---

All the very best.... :)) ***

Thank You Keisha!! It really means a lot and I enjoyed it! I will not leave my future in someone else’s hands!!

Yes, you've got this, Viki! ....

yes, Jim's message is a wise one and based upon his experience in success and in failure... it's from failure that we learn, however, it's better if we can learn from others who have gone before us and left us messages for us to pick up and to learn from to avoid the pitfalls ... that way we all evolve further ...

absolutely -- take command of your life and your life path! ... as you know best, deep down inside, of what is best for YOU! ...

everything all comes from within and then emanates and radiates to all around us ... hopefully in peace, love & Light, it makes for a much better world ...

keep at it, bit by bit, step by step ... you'll get there -- wherever the There is -- is of how you have defined it for yourself ... let your higher self be your guide ...

all the very Best to YOU for Big Success,

cheerio ... 🌺😇🌿 ....
