How many banner ad's and links are appropriate for a page? Don't like seing pages cluttered with add and links.
When I am looking at a website I don't like being bombarded with ads everywhere. It's such a turn off. I feel comfortable with at least 4 or 5
I personally start to get uncomfortable with more than 3 links on a page. However, it depends upon the context of the post. Maybe one link will do the job such as if I wrote about WA then one affiliate link to WA should do the trick. Then again a post on flowers for my girlfriend may accommodate 4 or 5 affiliate links to recommended florists. I think it is a judgement call ... GrampaMike
Look at it as if you go to another persons page and adjust it to what your comfortable with.
I'm still trying to decide the same thing. I have some ads in the footer section, but I haven't added any to the sidebar yet. Tricky question! - Marsanne

I think you need a balance just enough but not too much cheers Helen
