I just had a presentation on "the power of knowledge" and "how we acquire knowledge" and it went great. I was really happy with the participation of the members of the youth group that I regularly attend every week and how the topic was analyzed and developed. Everyone got involved! It was awesome :)

So basically, we can acquire knowledge by reading, listening, and seeing things. HOWEVER, these simple actions won't help us much because there is a lot more required to retain information and learn new skills/concepts.

For example, if you simply READ a paragraph, you will remember 10% of it. That's your knowledge from it. However, if you INTERPRET the message of the paragraph, then you will remember 80% of the paragraph.

What's my point?.... Let's not be lazy!

Let's put the work and time into the training so that we are not "just moving on". Otherwise, we are not really acquiring the knowledge that we should get that's not going to help us reach our goals with our websites and online business. This can obviously be applied to our daily life outside of WA.
