Donate Today! - You have at least 1 too many!
Hello WA friends, I just want to ask a quick question: When was the last time you donated something? Whether it was money, clothes, food, or blood.
I think that we always have "1 too many" when it comes to pretty much everything but for whatever reasons we still believe we need one more...
Well, I have been trying to get my daughter to "donate" her toys but she was always like "but I play with that daddy". Until today....
She told me that she wants to give away some of her toys to those kids that don't have anything to play with. I got really happy to hear that; she probably heard about donating at school or on the TV but regardless of the source, she got the message.
We went into more details about how we are planning to donate her toys and she looked genuinely excited about it! This made me come up with this post. Sometimes we are so busy thinking about how we can make the extra dollar without thinking about those that would appreciate one penny.
Don't get me wrong, we all want to succeed and accomplished our goals. I'm sure that nobody "ignores" those in need on purpose; life keeps us just so busy and we don't even have the time. Take this post a simple reminder. When you get a chance:

Life will return you whatever you give x10!!!!
HOWEVER, don't do it for "the return", do it for the rewarding feeling of helping others.

Great post, Victor. You must be doing something right raising your little girl, since she has decided to help the needy kids who have nothing to play with. Kudos to you and your wife for raising such a sweet little girl!
You're welcome. You certainly deserve them. Are you comfortable sharing a pic of your precious daughter with us? I certainly understand if you aren't, but would like to see her if you are.

I donate every week, whether it's clothing, stuff, money or knowledge, one day, I donated a dopple bed, for free, for someone who really needed it for his children, a man came to fetch it, an hour later is was offered on the same website for €150, that was not meant to be. Most of the time it goes well, I gave away our boat, and a week later, the family came around with a bouquet of flowers and pictures of their son in the boat smiling from ear to ear. That gave a better feeling 😀
That's so nice of you! Such a happy story :)
Why charge people for stuff you don't use anyway? I believe we are all One, what you do to others, you do to Yourself.
