Do you see the toolbar for font, etc? Or do you only see one row of options? Sometimes you have to click the toolbar toggle button on the far right to make the second row of options show. I attached an image of where the button is. Hope that helps.
Thanks yakitori, but yes I see everything. It is just the drop menu for the fonts and colours that don't drop anymore so I can't change them.
Hmm..maybe try this Rule out Browser Issues - Clear Cache I suspect maybe it's your browser so try clearing your broswer cache.
Hi again, I have now been through the training and cleared my cache and still no change. One thing I have noticed is everything works great above the page fold. When I scroll down the pull-down menus do not pull down anymore. Do think it is worth reporting to support or should I just get a plug in? Your help is much appreciated
That's a weird one. So it actually works but only above the fold... yeah maybe you should bring it up with support because it should just work. You shouldn't have to install a plugin for functionality that should work out of the box.

I have followed Jasons training on instaling Yoast and the only problem was I found it hard to verify webmaster tools and google analytics. I thought I had managed it as it sai
Incognito doesn't change your IP address. If you have analytics set up to ignore your IP address then it doesn't matter if you use a different browser or an incognito window it will still ignore you.
Hi Marion, of course you are absolutely correct, thanks for pointing out this error. However, since installing Yoast GA and Sumo-me have registered no traffic and I have just checked from a non-filtered device too and it confirms GA no longer works. Thanks for your help

Adding your keyword in your title (exact match) will not help you beat them. Unless you get some quality links, of course.
I'd recommend going for keywords the big dogs don't rank for.
Thanks for this answer, it is what I thought but trying to find keywords with decent searches, low QSR and low page authority is like trying to find diamonds. They are there but need lots and lots of digging and patience to get them.
I am on a very steep learning curve with keywords. I knew nothing of page authority and had written 30 fabulous articles over 2-3 months with no rankings and no traffic. My mentor has set me on the right path now thank goodness.
How I love this place, my mentor has saved my business for sure.

Does anyone actually search for the keyword? The monthly searches are important too, try to find a keyword with more than 100 monthly searches.

I bow down to your better judgement, you are right. I was taking the keyword from my admin area rather than the actual post in google. School-boy error I should have known better, phew I was quite concerned. Thank you

So I have written 19 articles and 3 pages over a 5-6 week period. Of the 19 articles,17 are not found in the rankings, and in regards to the other two articles, 1 is page 12 th
I've read that Google won't even take a site seriously until you have 15 - 20 posts on a site. So you're just at that breaking point. It's very early days for you and you're just starting to gain momentum. Are you posting all your articles on the various social media also?
As long as you use them in your heading. Then about twice in your article. This helps to get it found easier. Choosing the second one sounds right to me.
Looks right to me too, but this way of finding great keywords isnt, as yet, working with any of my posts. :-(
I think it's not working because rarely anyone ever searches for "meditation with beginners". I'm not a native English speaker but I would not search for 'with' bur rather 'for'.
What I would try is keywords similar to 'how to meditate for beginners" and things like this. I haven't looked at the QSR of this particular keyword phrase, but try giving it a shot.
Hi and thanks for your help. Should i go back over all my articles and change my keywords? Thanks again :)
From what I can see, a lot of your articles focus on the law of attraction. That alone has a lot of traffic. Have you tried researching keywords with Jaaxy? (lesson 7 in course1) Finding Content Ideas from Keywords You should probably research some low hanging fruit keywords as is described in Course 2. Understanding the Low Hanging Fruit
I completely agree with you, there are loads of low hanging fruit within my niche lve been silly and im paying the price. How do i put it right. Do i change all my keywords for low hanging fruit? Thanks for your help
Maybe try changing one, make sure it's in your heading and once in your first paragraph and then somewhere in the middle or at the end. Write naturally. After some time try to check whether you are drawing traffic to that article.
If it doesn't work, then at least you wouldn't have wasted time editing all of your articles. :) This is what I would do personally.
