Nice little Niches
So in the chat convo today there were many questions about "is my niche a good niche?" and of course there are many research ways to get an answer to that. I'm going to add a different opinion- Do you like the topic? if yes then yes its a good niche. When I first started I was so busy "researching niches" and "checking tag words" and "how much traffic" and I went kinda crazy and got nowhere. So I decided to jump into a niche that I personally love but was considered "not good" due to low traffic, high competition and too broad. The result? No I'm not a millionaire (yet) but because its something that I enjoy doing/learning about/writing about the creative juices just flowed. I was able to build a site, add content and even start an email campaign all because I love the niche. I'm even getting some traffic! When you love something you can write great content and though it may not be as fast as those other niche choices but if you have good content you will build a following. So I have new advice for that "how do I choose a niche" and that's go with what you love and ignore the rest (for now) once you set up a system this way you get a great knowledge base of how everything works. After that you can go back and start a new "good" niche to get into.

That's great advice. i think I read one of Kyle's pots that said, in essence, there no such thing as a bad niche. Pick one you love and you'l be able to create great content for it.
Yep, Exactly! and I'm positive that someone has said that before but most focus on finding a "good" niche that brings in profits and I did not do well going that way first!
I think most people struggle with that approach.
