An Interesting thought for Website Owners

Here's a thought that just come into my mind. It's about monetizing web pages with Google Adsense.
The more and up-to-date content a website has that adds to user experience, the better the Google bot will like the site and the more frequent will be its visits.
If you have a bit of Adsense on a content-rich and up-to-date website, Google might elevate the web pages displaying Google ads.
That way Google will make more money, and advertisers will get more response. Advertising is Google's main source of revenue!
So it's like "scratch my back and I'll scratch yours".
Whether this is true I don't know because I've just thought about it!

Yeah I can't say one way or another if this is true, I would just add a caveat to that line of thinking though. Google has proven before that it is willing to take a revenue hit to ensure a good customer experience, because it's all about the long game with them.
This is how AdWords was originally born. They saw they were getting irrelevant ads in their search results which was bad for the user experience. So they built an algorithm that says it doesn't matter how much you pay, if your ad isn't relevant it's not getting shown.
The same goes for Google in China. They tried to make a go of it in China for a while because the revenue potential was so great. Ultimately though they decided that they couldn't deal with the Chinese government and provide the Chinese people with a quality user experience so they pulled out.
