I'm looking to develop my own health/fitness web applications in the future and I'm wondering who designed and programmed WA and Jaaxy?

Yup, Tommy is right. It was Kyle and Carson

Pretty sure Tommy has it there. :))

Kyle and carson created WA and i think Jay helped on jaaxy.

Cool, Thanx Tommy ;)

Good question I too look forward to the answer.

Keyword 1 - Avg(405) Traffic(69) QSR(137) SEO(94)
Keyword 2 - Avg(7010) Traffic(1192) QSR(108) SEO(87)

Why does Keyword 1 have a higher SEO (94) than Keyword 2, when QS

I think SEO is displayed as better on KW1 because there are fewer other pages to compete with.

Try not to get to obsessed with numbers, all keyword tools have flaws its only software
the way I look at keywords is this
the keywords are people who have a problem - what is the best way to produce content to help them solve their problem
what is their pain point, why do they really want to loose weight or build muscle
try to connect with the people behind the keywords
Numbers only tell you how many people have this problem, they do not tell you what is the real motivation behind the problem
connect with people don't worry to much about numbers and SEO its people that make buying decisions not software

barry

I get your point, but without understanding the keywords and analysing competition it becomes futile to write articles. I remember writing for 6 months straight, good useful articles, that ranked poorly and never generated any traffic. So you can write all the good stuff in the world but if your articles are on page 3,4,5 it's basically a waste of effort.

Need to see the keywords to answer the question - the numbers alone are only half the picture

OK posting here:
workout plan build muscle: Avg(405) Traffic(69) QSR(137) SEO(94)
workout plan to lose weight: Avg(7010) Traffic(1192) QSR(108) SEO(87)

From what I see the reason the SEO is higher on the 1st keyword is because it is not does not read properly.

Meaning it's not a real common phrase people would type in search so it would have less competition

Were as the other keyword is a phrase reads better and one people would use as a typical search thus having a little more competition.

Hope this helps

OK. But according to Jaaxy the competition should be higher on KW1. Yes I would use KW2 cause it makes more sense. I was simply trying to understand the output data.. thanks anyway friend ;)

Personally I don't even look at the SEO info - my 3 guiding factors to a great usable keyword are:

Does the keyword (phrase) make sense
QSR below 200 - the lower the better
Traffic above 50 per month

There are only 2 numbers to concentrate on...Monthly Searches and QSR. Per your 2 Keywords, the explanation for the difference between 7010 and the 405 is because it is grammatically correct. The QSR difference is really only the number of competition pages out there per the niche. Do not worry about any other numbers. You want your Monthly Searches to be at least 50 and the QSR to be at 300 OR LESS.

So the SEO number is more or less irrelevant? when the KW1 that doesn't make sense has SEO94 and KW2 has SEO87. I simply used the examples cause they showed up one after the other.

Correct. Just use the Monthly Searches and the QSR. Remember, your first example, the words did not make sense and the competition was low...so were the Monthly Searches. How are you now? Strolling along, AGAIN?!

How do we get an answer to this puzzle?

We can once we know what the keywords are

I'll come back and check the answers to your question because I'm still a little confused about keywords. ~Marion

in general or with the use of Jaaxy?

Jaaxy and WA's Keyword Tool. I keep forgetting what the letters stand for, which ones should be high and which ones low. I usually look at the Article Power (high) and Searches (high).

Good question. :))
