Og Mandino - Part 8
Excerpts from the book, The Greatest Salesman in the World, by Og Mandino.
The Greatest Salesman in the World was written to serve as a guide for success in business and in life, as seen through the life of a camel boy, Hafiid, as he embarks on his journey to become the greatest salesman in the world.
Over the next 10 days, we will explore the 10 principles of success, found in the scrolls given to Hafid, centuries ago.
The Scroll Marked VIII:
"Today I will multiply my value a hundredfold."
Personal Thoughts:
Healthy competition is great, but when others pass our own efforts - sometimes seamlessly - we can have doubts about our own abilities.
There's a saying that exceeding other people's accomplishments is not as important as surpassing your own abilities. That really resonates with me. Sometimes, I just feel awestruck with the amount of knowledge people have on this platform. Reading other people's posts encourages me, spurs me on, and calls me higher. But, at the end of the day, I am really just racing against my 2 selves: my yesterday self and my today self.
In nature, things are either in a state of growth or decay; nothing stays stagnant.

Thanks for Part 8 Veronica!
For me, when it comes to business, there is no my yesterday!
Only my today and my tomorrow.

A great message "If I stumble I will rise and my falls will not concern me for all men must stumble often to reach the hearth. Today I will multiply my value a hundredfold."
