Negative Thoughts
I have noticed that whenever I feel impatient or frustrated about where I am with affiliate marketing , I immediately start saying things to myself like, "this isn't working out" or "this is too hard".
Has anyone else ever felt that way?
What I have realized is that these are unproductive feelings and they actually stop the creative process and hinder me from reaching my goals. So. I remind myself of my goals.
First, I say to myself what my goal is, and what my realistic time frame is to reach these goals.
Second, I think of what it would mean to me and my family to reach these goals.
Thirdly, I think of what my family would be able to do when I reach my goals in specific terms.
Before I know it I'm back on track emotionally and taking things one step at a time. What are some of your experiences? Do you battle with any negative thoughts or feelings?

Yep! You'll get that quite often! It all comes down to how badly you want it! :) Wish you all the best! :)
I still get negative thoughts about it all and I earn money consistently at this. As I said it's all about how hard you can push and sticking with it.
That's my idea though :)
You are so right. The Universe hears what we say and thinks that is what we want. It may be difficult but we can always say positive instead of negative.
Isn't it amazing how subtly we can undermine our own success? Or, say positive things in a negative way? I'm still a humble learner when it comes to these things.
Right now I am having trouble with positive. I can't get into "Build your Website". But, I going to get granddaughter ready for Halloween & chill. And only say positive outloud.
I have similar days when you want to throw your hands up and quit. Well I am not a quitter and remind myself. I then get back to work or take a break to refresh myself. I think we all experience this in our business. Thank you for sharing. Debbie
Yep, walking away can certainly help to refocus and gain a fresh perspective. Also good is your "quitting is not an option" attitude. Sometimes I think to myself, how far I've already come and the goal I want is closer today then yesterday.

Thinking (paying attention to that little voice in our head) takes a lot of time and energy. I try to make a plan or have a to-do list and stick to that for a good long productive session. Then if I get to "thinking" about all the pros and cons again -- I try to again get myself back on track to actually doing -- not debating, thinking, but doing. Some people call this being present. Some people call it paying attention. If you allow yourself you can while the day away and not get anything done just being in your head and talking basically to yourself all day! And really it does not matter if it is negative or positive -- it is still distracting and not getting to the business at hand.
Sage advise! Thank you Mike!!
