As you have probably already guessed, I am new here. My name is Kevin and my day job is driving limos and sedans here in Las Vegas. Not a bad gig...I've had worse jobs. But the older I get, the longer the days seem.

I have been interested in the idea of earning a living via the internet for about five years now. I just had no idea of how to achieve it. I had an idea for a classified ads site. For a minute, I thought I could write a great blog about my favorite sport, baseball. But I am even more passionate about music than I am baseball, so I started my own online radio station about three years ago.

I always struggled with how to attract traffic. But I kept at it. And kept at it. I kept the site updated as best I could (sometimes tough when you have a full-time day job). I added adsense. I never saw a penny. I added ads from other affiliate programs and got the same result: nada. But one day, one of the programs I had signed up with actually showed that I had income from clicks from their ad on my site.

I received a check from them in the mail! I'm not even kidding a little bit! And not just one check... they actually sent me four or five checks over the next few months. They weren't big, each of them around $25 to $30. But it was something...especially for me since I really had no idea what I was doing. And then, they went out of business. Nice.

So there I was, back at square one. I did a lot of thinking about my site. I decided to give it a complete makeover, new name and everything. I hired a couple of people to help with the re-design. After a couple of months, I started to get frustrated as I wasn't seeing much progress by them toward my new site. A couple of months later, I let them go and decided to do it myself. I think it's one of the best decisions I've made so far.

So, just a couple of weeks in and I am really liking this site. It is tough finding the time for this after working a ten hour day job five days a week, but I am committed. I have already learned some pretty cool stuff. Thank you Kyle and Carson. I look forward to getting to know and working with many more people here!
