I'm an Amazon Associate if that makes a difference. Thanks.
Hi,
Yes, it is otherwise kyle and Carson wouldn't recommend it.
So yes it is fine with WordPress.
Debs :)
Thanks so much for your reply. Any chance you have a link to where they recommend it? I'd love to see what they say about benefits. :-)

I'm getting abysmal scores on my PageSpeed and GTMetrix shows 53% on the link I'm checking.

Just saw your message, Nathaniell. It's this one: https://liveablissfullife.com/full-resource-list/. Thanks.
I think the main issues you're seeing are definitely due to the ads on the page. That's what tall the redirects are coming from, which is where all your E and F ratings are focused. When you open up those tabs you can see things like:
https://monu.delivery/site/d/6/340a73-ac6b-4462-8de4-8a15ac02cc25.js (monunetric)
https://x.bidswitch.net/sync ?ssp=aol&gdpr=0&gdpr;_consent= (ad bidding)

It's an unfortunate consequence of making money from ad networks.
Thanks, Nathaniell. Those are definitely ads but I have to say even before I got the ads, my site speed were all in the red. :-(
Do you perhaps have a lot of plugins if you do remove the once you are not using hopeful the speed will get back to normal.
Hope it helps .

Hi everyone. Wonder if anyone can help. I am suddenly getting spam subscribers. How do I block these? I don't necessarily want to disable registrations, just filter the spam on

I actually wouldn't use a plugin I would actually stop the registrations. Go to dashboard– users and non-take anybody can register as a subscriber. Once you have done that you have blocked them anyway.
The reason I would say that is down the line if you're going to have any problem with your website it is more likely to be from plugins and anything else.. Only use a plug-in when absolutely necessary
I would go Roberts suggestion first as adding too many plugins could slow down or effect your website.
WA has its own spam blocker but you have to activate it.
You can do this by clicking on Websites on the left of your WA Home Page then Site Manager.
Find your sites and over on the far right you will see the word Details.
Click on that and scroll down until you see SitePlus+ and activate the spam blocker and any other the other ones you want to.

Hi Robert, it's on. It's really the user registration that I was aiming for as I'm already getting adequate protection with comments. I keep getting subscriptions from 163.com.
Looks like Malware to me.
I have a plugin activated for that.
have a looksee.
