Past the 2 month mark and still loving WA!

Just past the 3 month mark and I have no intentions of stopping. I am working to finish my first website building gig and am becoming more and more confident.
I had a panic moment as my power supply exploded last night right after I unplugged it and was moving it to another, better location for work. This was spurred on because as I had just gotten home my back-up power supply was alarming. When I went to plug it all back in, POOF!
Good thing I had unplugged my devices and didn't plug my cords into the computer first! I plugged the cord into the power supply first and that's when it exploded, it wasn't hooked up to my computer yet! That was special! Finally got to the electronics store to buy another power supply and APC Power serge device this afternoon. That power supply saved my computer!
It was hard not to be able to get "online". That's almost as uncomfortable as forgetting my phone. Who'd a thought that these things would be so integral in our day to day lives?
I am learning so much and am very grateful for all the community does in sharing and helping in the growth of everyone. This is by far my best choice and I am very grateful to all those who share their time and knowledge here.

Wow! You were very lucky not to have lost your computer and peripherals because you unplugged the way we're supposed to.
Yeah. Real lucky! I have the outline of the transformer and part of the cord burned into the shorts I was wearing. It made quite an impression! LOL Had the Back-Up not done it's job, the house would have been burned down by the time I got home.
