Focus is sooo hard

My traditional job is very physical and quite stressful. There are no lunches or breaks once you start. Between that and taking care of family, my focus is shot! You know the adage of the faster I go the behinder I get? It is not only true, but oh so hard to battle.
The limited time I have combined with the inability to focus, is getting the better of me. I use lists - they get lost, I use a start page - it never gets seen, ........
Any suggestions?
