Deleting a Wordpress Theme

If you were wanting to know how to delete a wordpress theme that you decided not to use or for whatever reason. Here is how you do it.
Go to Themes on you Wordpress Dashboard
Select the theme you want to delete like you wanted to see a preview.
In the bottom right hand corner you will see the delete tab. Click it.
That's all. Your page will refresh and you will see the theme gone.

Wheh you say delete - do you still have access to the theme if you want to go back to it....or does it get deleted from your list entirely?
It gets deleted entirely. If you want to use it again, just go to themes and click on the add new at the top. Select the theme and it is back on your dashboard.
Just don't delete the theme until you activate a different one so all of your content is placed into the theme you just activated.
Thanks Val - I have got in a bit of a muddle with themes as I added several (actually made active) when I couldnt find one I liked....it all seems to be working o.k. but I was interested to know how you take them off your installed list. Thanks for sharing...Kevin

You can also remove them using FTP ! I always remove the standard themes, and the folders that they reside in, that get installed with Wordpress .
I have never tried to use the FTP here at WA. Perhaps you could elaborate and teach us how.
