My Progress and Goals
My progress so far... I've been at this for 8 months. In the beginning I didn't do much and let it fall by the wayside. Over the last month, I've finally dived in and have a functional operating website. Progress!
My niche... Self-Help, Inspirational. I know this is very broad, but I am okay with that. It is allowing my creativity to flow and will allow me to build out my site in a few different directions.
My successes... So far I haven't had any financial gain, but I've got a few affiliate links set-up and my site is now indexing in google, so I expect that to change soon. My biggest success right now is getting my website started, writing posts, and driving traffic to my website. I'm super excited!
My plans & goals for the next 3 months... my plan is to continue building out my website, especially adding pages. My goal is make at least $250 a month, but I'm pushing for $500/months. Once I get there I will focus on bigger and brighter goals.

It sounds like you understand that the real way to achieve success to progressing each day toward you goal. If you take consistent action, you will begin to see consistent results.
I applaud your efforts and wouldn't worry about your site being too broad. As you start creating content, it may change direction. Sometimes we have to find that ONE THING that we really enjoy!
