How do i move a post to a page?
Im trying to move a post i created to a page
I use a plugin called Post Type Switcher. When I started I did too many articles as pages. When I asked for an answer on swapping them some lovely WA person told me to use this. And I have for quite a while. It works well.
When you activate the information shows on the top right of your post or page in the WP area.
It does what you say, but it creates a new page. I want to move a post from the homepage to a page already created
Does the page you have already created have any content?
Are you trying to amalgamate two articles?
The page already created does not have content. I want to move a post to the page so it can have content
If the page has no content just delete it. I take it you haven't published an empty page!
Then you will have a created a new page (unless you deleted that after your test run) that contains the old post.
