Membership Site vs. Product Launch

I never really considered setting up a membership site. Can it be combined with a Product Launch? As stated before my product is a ghost book that I am laying out the text now. Yeah, it's almost done. My idea was to start selling online and locally. It is about "Ghosts". I live in Gettysburg, Pa. I grew up driving carriages and am passionate about history, storytelling, ghosts, meeting people, and doing more of these books. Maybe I should just create a movement with with a membership site. Hmmm!

Halloween is a good time to promote ghost stuff. Get the site up and work on the rest after the "Ghost" day.

You can do both. Your membership site would offer related things around your book, and you would "product launch" your book. A product is everything you offer actually. So you could even "product launch" your membership site too!

funny...next blog I read had info on membership sites as well , see uridium's blog unfortunately cant post link here :(

S2member is a good plugin to "create" a membership site and they have a free version :)

thanks

If you start it now, by the next Halloween season you should be doing very well.
Ghost stuff is always popular but even more so around Halloween.

Hello Labman: The book is doing well. I have four more paintings to go. Very, very excited. Back on WA setting the website up. Hoping to have the whole kit-and-kaboodle DONE by January. In the middle of rewrites. The editing phase is trying. Other authors critiquing my style and well...thinking of getting trademarked before I really start showing it to beyond a select few. This is on the local end around Gettysburg. Have no idea on the web. I am going to start blogging the process. That way people will not think I'm all mouth. I want to get feedback from here. Ah, more critiques. It's no longer my baby:) When I get burnout on the production phase I get on here to anonymously research, but the gap is closing. I just hope that I can handle the pressure of more computer time. It's hard with two rugrats.
