Hi Tom. Not sure what you mean by success. I've had a lot of views of my articles. Click rate through to my websites has always been variable.

I had a look at your article - which is very well written. I have 2 observations.

1. Don't open an article with "If you found this article, you or someone you know are..." A lot of people use this and it's not great. You're making an assumption about why people may be reading your article and if they have found it by chance you are immediately excluding them.

2. You are very lucky that you got away with 'click here' because that normally isn't allowed. Links should occur more naturally.

3. You only used one link where you would have had at least two. Always use the amount you are allowed. Put the first link as soon after 300 words as you can - and then the other one near the end. Putting one early on will increase the chances of people clicking through as only 16% of people read the entire contents of a webpage.
