Hi Michael, how are you doing? I can see you've been busy. xxxx

1

Not as busy as I'd like Cheryl. How are you doing?

1

I am doing great Michael, thing are moving along fine and I am just getting on with life. How did your 1/2 marathon go? xxxx

1

Sounds good. I finished it in 2 hours and 49 minutes. It was a lot tougher than running around the Bay where I live.

1

I bet it was Michael but that was a great time for it being your first one, well done you. Full marathon for you next then, hope you managed to get that happy dance in at the end lol.

Do you know that it's Veronica's 50th today?

Is it a quiet weekend or have you got things lined up to do? I can't believe how quick the weeks are going in.

Have a good day Michael, have you heard anything about Steve recently?

Speak to you soon? xxxx

1

I would like to know about Steve too Michael.

2

The only thing I know is he is driving motorhomes around Australia, so it's been over 6 months since I last heard from him.

2

He has just disappeared into thin air Jean lol. xxx

1

Thanks Michael. xxxx

1

I think we had this conversation a while ago and nothing has changed on the Steve front. He is not in contact with me anymore :(

2

That's fine Michael, I was just wondering if you had maybe on the off chance heard anything from anyone else. Don't worry about it. He doesn't talk to me either now it seems after my husband stupidly one Friday night left a message on my WhatsApp telling him never to speak to me again. I haven't heard anything since even though I have tried to tell him that Davie thought he was sending the message to someone else lol. xxx

2

Wow. Hope he's okay.

2

Apparently. :(

1

He has unfollowed me on Facebook and by the looks of it he has blocked me as well, he has taken himself of my messenger and WhatsApp so I don't know what to do or think about it all but I just want to get the chance to speak to him and see what's going on. xxx

1

So do I Jean. xxxx

Hi Michael

Hope you had a better week than me :)
Had some challenges this week and one of them was having no internet for several days so did not manage to post anything and have to catch up on a lot of work and tend to my clients.

At this point WA comes second to my business.
Was hoping to earn something by now considering how much time and effort I have put into my website and managing to get 130 referrals here on WA with 0 premium conversions. Am a bit worn and torn at this stage.

It is a concern that is has taken this long to get very few results and honestly I'm not sure what to do going forward or what would be most productive.

I am not loosing hope or anything like that but this has definitely effected momentum negatively. It is difficult to spend so much time on everything that entails to run and promote a website that is not bringing in any money and hoping that some day it will. I have to focus on what pays the bills and puts food on the table for my family.

Nothing like a cold splash of reality hey! :D
Still intend to succeed at this and hopefully by the end of the week I can produce some quality content.

Best regards,
Kamil

1

Hey Kamil, have you managed to get any feedback from your referrals?
Is it not what they expected?
Try a pm to them, if you can get some feedback you can them maybe modify what you are telling people andd start getting referrals who convert.
Glad you are not giving up.
Phil

1

Hi Phil

The problem is you cannot PM people who are not premium.

I manage to communicate with a lot of my referrals but there is a ton of objections and excuses that I have actually learned to answer well or share a post they could relate to or guide them in a direction I assume will be helpful and show them the bigger picture but no results as yet.
If someone doesn't take the initiative to commit there is not much else I can do without coming across as forceful.

A few of my referrals have actually mentioned that they feel WA is PUSHING them to go premium! This is a problem in my opinion because when you feel like someone is forcing you to buy something, usually you will move on or be scared off and this is what is happening a lot of the time. I also remember being constantly pushed towards premium when I did the first free week here but I just ignored it and focused on the value WA could provide.

Don't think Kyle would change this technique though and I'm not sure how this will further effect my conversion ratio. At this point it's dismal and I have tried A LOT of different approaches, ones that were even suggested by Kyle himself.

Would be nice if just 1 person out of 130 went premium :)

Yeah - i don't agree with the refferee (?) not being able to get in touch with the people they are supposed to be helping.
as you say if there is no commitment then...
I think i am learning this about myself - i would like to make it work but am i really committed? time will tell.
As for the pushing - what are you doing to resolve this?
can you get their email addresses next time before they signup - then you have a way of communicating and putting them at their ease.
I think i had it lucky - no pushing, i just felt it was the right thing to do - took up the $19 at the end of the first week - then yearly and still here.
Again i am lucky, i've had three referrals of which one went yearly. the other two dropped out.
Again i think it is, unfortunately the wrong type of people, not totally committed.
So what do we do - give them a course outside WA - for that we need their e-mail address, to help them along. Add extra benefit to what they can learn here for free.
The old adage of 7 touches may be true, you need to be in touch with them 7 times before they will commit.
What you need are people who need this, not need money immediately but need this system to get them out of the place they are in now.
If you look at most of the people who have 'made it' then they have had major problems before becoming big. They solved their problem.

1

Hi, Kamil,

I know what you mean and I feel for you.

The truth is, this business is no different to any other business. It's a numbers game. Momentum is a funny thing. You have to work with large numbers and with the right people. Conversion only happens with people who have a 'get up and go' attitude and these are not easy to find.

I remember when I did Herbalife (full-time for 5 years)I had to talk to 30 people a day to make it work, that amounts to around 600+ people per month which earned me $5,000 per month.

Once you get the ball rolling it gets easier but you can never slack off or you lose that momentum.

It takes a lot of courage, consistency and perseverance to make this work.

Cheers,
Michael

1

So true Michael, there is a lot to figure out here and it never ends :)

It sounds like you were doing really well with Herbalife, $5000 a month would solve all my financial issues out with plenty left over. May I ask why you stopped?

Pushing this heavy ball but it won't budge, need more strength! :D

1

I got tired of the product at that time. So I started a printing company which I ran for 16 years.

1

Hey Michael, how's it going?
Did you get through your run?
How is the steampunk item going?
Glad you have more content for your site
Keep making
Phil

1

Hi, Phil,

Yes, I did do the City2Surf run which was 14 kilometres and then I did a half marathon (21 kilometres) a few weeks later. Going from couch potato in Sept last year (25 kilos overweight) to slim and reasonably fit runner this year.

The Steampunk is going very slowly at the moment but I'll get there.

Cheers,
Michael

1

Damn, it almost sounds like running is in your blood now - you need to run to get that endorpine hit!
But not bad for a couch potato - hope you are blogging about it in your local news site!! inspire others.
With the steampunk - do you not add more coal to get the boiler hotter to get it to run faster?
All of these things take time, lots of it.
Good luck with it, i know you will get there in the end.
Phil

Hey Phil,

I'm sorry I haven't replied to your comment. It didn't show up in my feed. :(

It's getting too hot over here to add coal - I'm sweating already.

I am officially slim - as confirmed by my girlfriend. Yep, the running continues but not as regimented as before. If I get one in a week, I'm happy.

Thanks, Phil.
