Do You Trust Google With Your Information?

Here's a question for you. Do you trust Google with your information? What are the potential problems with doing so? Is it possible that even if Google's intent is never to use your information in a way that would violate your privacy they could be forced to cave into government pressures to release information?
Has Google already released information to the the U.S. and U.K. Governments? Have they collaborated with the Chinese government to sensor search results for Chinese citizens?

What questions have you been asking about Google and they way they handle your information? Like me you have probably never given it a lot of thought but I recently watched a short 45 min documentary film on the the corporate giant that started me asking a ton of questions.
I am a firm believer in a persons right to privacy and I don't believe that the governments anywhere in the world should be able to bullhorn their citizens into sacrificing that right for any reason. If China wants to censor their citizens let them do it their selves.
I have to ask myself if they're willing to work with the Chinese govt what's stopping them from working with the U.S. or the U.K. government to censor my own results?
To be honest with you that makes me want to stop using Google all together...On the other hand I am so addicted to Google's apps and accessories that I don't want to give up the convenience of it. I am seriously perplexed by the situation.
I think our government already uses the information to spy on us at least to some degree but I will say this, they day they come out and just start censoring my results that's going to be the day I turn off my computer and start cleaning my guns.
Google's motto of Don't Be Evil is just a load of horse manure in my opinion. Like any corporation their goal at the end of the day is profit and they have shown that in recent years more and more.
Maybe you will watch the documentary and give me your thoughts and opinions in a comment below? =) Thanks for reading!
