Greeting of Goodness to all. I have been diligently working on my book and have not allowed anything except sleep to stop me. My dedication to finishing this project has interrupted my lessons, etc here at WA. Because of my determination to finish before the new year, I have accomplished 90% of my goal. The 10% will undoubtedly be accomplished before the coming year. This post is not only an update of my happenings, but also a boost for anyone who feels like giving in or giving this traini
I am not a hard worker. I don't really understand what that means. Working hard, hard working, etc. Does not bring any pictures to my mind. Working diligently, effectively, constantly, consistently, etc., these I understand and cause a picture to form in my mind and I can see myself working constantly on a project I am very interested in. I am currently working on a book and I have been diligently working on it daily. This is the only way for me to complete it, so I make sure to give it a
This is really another cliche' that has come to be a stickler for me. Perhaps you and I can bring so clarity to the meaning of this. Since being introduced to the 5 W's and 1H system of questioning (like the newspeople), I have used this system to write better copy. I also apply it to phrases such as "I am trying to"--- and the first questions was-What. I then write several answers to this phrase and believe it or not, the question was answered. All I had to do was ask another like Who a
Happiness is being informed of receiving a Dedication Badge. This means all my efforts in creating blogs, answering questions, giving encouragement to whomever needed it, just saying thank you for helping me has been recognized by the staff here at WA. I thank you for giving me the chance to do all the above and also learn from experts how to do it with love.
Has anyone edited any pages on other sites? I have and found that I needed a "gravatar" to complete the edit. Does anyone know what is the difference between and avatar and a gravatar? I have an "avatar" on this page. It is spices in spoons. I have another one on my main email address which is a pink flower. To me, this is somewhat useful. My actual pic of my face can be substituted with something else. I found a few answers to my questions on the suggested site to learn more on gravatars.
I was reading some back lessons of Kyle (the co-owner of WA) and comments made by the students here at WA about setting a niche and keywords and the meaning of competition, etc. A thought came into my head related to competition and to understand how it works and also use it better. Now this is just my thoughts, so if it works then no harm done. The root word for competition is compete right? So imagine this: Door A Door B Door C, etc. Door A is the most popular door because everyone is enter
On my mind are the many cliches that have caused me to dislike them and wonder, "Is this really what I want to do"? "and what does this really mean?"First up is the saying:Go out and ......... I asked the question that was given as advise for beginning an online business. I asked this of myself and my answer: Go out where? It is raining, (put whatever you would to this statement). Another one is: " Working hard" or "hard work". I don't know about you but, I surely don't want to work hard.
Updating as I find them: The ABC's of My ResearchDoing research on ways to have a work at home business, coping with stress, or just checking my emails, I have read many phrases, anecdotes, purposeful sayings, etc. When I find something that has caught my attention because of its truthful and meaningful words, I usually save it and sometimes I edit it to my liking. (misspelled words or the correct word –example: except /accept).With that in mind, below is something I received through emai
The word "Keyword" is a word that has caused many a searcher to do just that-keep on searching for a keyword. Last week or so, I really took some time to evaluate the word "keyword". After looking at that word, I remembered my school days when the grammar teacher would teach dissecting of two or more syllable words. Basically what that means is to break the word in two or more words. This word "keyword" has two syllables. Which means that it can be broken into two words. So, I entered the
