This keyword search business
Okay so my previous awareness of keywords was we search within our specific niche for a topic to write content and just probe more keywords to fill particular subtopic .....this would have thrown me off in terms of sending out my message across to my audience.....and I would also be confused.
With that said....my current understanding is researching a keyword in your specific niche example DIETS then subtopics would be //
* What is a diet?
* reason person go on a diet
* How does a Does diet help you?
Or these are just specific niche within a diet? You can recognize my predicament here?
Can someone shed light on this topic please.... I have read reasonably on this within WA but still a bit shaky

Hi, The main keyword for your post should focus on your niche. I will give you an example. My blog is about family travel. My keywords are like this:
Best family travel to Spain.
Best family travel bags
Best family travel car seats.
When I am writing a post with any of these keywords, for example, if I choose to write about Best Family Travel Bags, my title will be The Very Best Family Travel Bags.
My 1st Heading 2/H2 will be What are the best travel bags for babies?
My 2nd Heading 2/ H2 will be What are the best travel bags for toddlers?
My 3rd Heading/H2 will be What are the best travel bags for mums?
My 4th Heading /H2 will be Final thoughts on the best family travel bags.
By using one main keyword and other keywords (the H2) your post can rank at least 4 times. If someone is looking for the best travel bag for toddlers, your post can show up too.

Tracey, if I were doing a diet website, I would choose a specific diet after using the keyword tool Jaaxy which we can use free here.
I might do vegan diets, as that is how I try to eat -- with some variations. But there are many choices and you will see a lot of them in Jaaxy.
I wouldn't touch doing a website on the general topic of diet. The comments you have above really fall more into that description.
