At the time of joining, (Oct 2016) I'd just recently retired from what was my Day Job in the transport industry and moved from Perth, Western Australia to Ulverstone in Tasmania. I was a Pilot/Escort driver escorting heavy equipment to and from mining and building sites, Mostly in the west, but occasionally interstate. I've lived and/or worked in every state of Australia at one time or another.
I've had a variety of jobs over the years, including sales, factory work, a stint as a pro musician and even 25yrs as a full time carer. (My former wife was disabled. She passed in 2010) My big passion though, is writing.
I'm working on a novel (what writer isn't haha) and these days I divide my time between that and freelance copywriting. I've studied SEO copywriting and expect to be able to put those skills to work here. Meanwhile, along with my wife Linda, I'm just learning to adapt to our new home in Tassie.
UPDATE: August 2018.
Yes, I'm still here! When my first 12 months was up I still wasn't doing all that well, but decided to sign on for another year at Premium. The novel has been on hold since I joined WA.
I've had some health issues, and took a long break for a bit. I also re-evaluated my position and pinpointed a few areas where I was drifting off course.
I've decided to restart the whole process. I had too many websites and was spreading myself too thin. I'm concentrating on just two now. I also realized I wasn't following the training properly.
My latest site is dedicated to promoting CBD Hemp Oil. I think this is a niche with definite potential. I'll share my newest post here.
I'd appreciate any feedback or onsite comments if you feel inclined.
If you're thinking of giving CBD products a try, there's a WA post I wrote here.
Anyway, that's it for now.
Wishing you all Success and Happiness.
FURTHER UPDATE: (Oct 2019)
Linda and I have moved back to what was my old home state of South Australia. I have sons, grandsons, and now a great-grandson over here.
