Ten months in at Wralthy Affiliate

"If you do not change something today, the next five years of your life will be like the last five years."

I am ten months in now, like most still looking to reach page 1 with everything. I have gone ahead and built the site that I mentioned from last month, that works with my primary site below "TD Remodeling." I have taken the information that I have learned from here at WA and by using Jaaxy, the new sites are gaining ranking much faster than any of my other sites ever did.

I have learned the hard way as many are probably doing some of the same mistakes as I started with, when you pick a domain name, you need to choose one with good search results. When you select a business name for offline in your geographical area, you will need to work a lot harder at ranking your site by dealing with branding.

Typically my company name for what I do locally “TD Remodeling” works fine, but for an online business nobody normally searches the name. You require having a name already recognised when searching it if it's not a regular keyword.

My new websites have domain names that people already search, so they ranked page one as soon as I launched them.

The first new improved site I started with ten pages/posts and after three days ranked page 1 position 5. Pages/posts are ranked 1,2,3,3,4,4,5,6,7,7 with 112 impressions average page rank of 131.6 for total keywords.

Two weeks later with 14 pages/posts rank 1,2,3,3,4,5,5,6,6,7,8,8,12,12 with 364 impressions and average page rank of 101 for key words.

I launched a second site today to check out my domain theory, and the site has no pages/posts other than landing on the domain home page with an about page in the main menu and privacy policy which neither are indexed. The site is ranked page 2 position 15 for the first couple of hours after launching.

I also created a sub-domain website for people who subscribe to my monthly newsletter to get access to all my videos on how to do renovations which have a total of 70 pages/posts.

I'm still working full time even though winter is here now and I'll keep trying to get my websites together. I have a lot better direction on which way I'm going now, and have a lot of work ahead to finish off this first year here.
