Build your emotional intelligence - many people do not understand their emotion. Ask yourself how well you understand your emotions. Understanding our own emotions is a very important aspect of mental strength. To build emotional intelligence, you have to spend quality time analyzing your feelings to understand yourself better.
Have flexibility for others opinions - mentally strong people have better flexibility for others opinions. Facing arguments and coming across different opinions are inevitable in life. Mentally weak people walk away blindly if they don’t understand something or if the argument is something they don’t agree with. Mentally weak people are mentally stuck with their own opinion, then they block out others opinions which might cost them a lot consequently. To become mentally strong, be flexible for others opinions, avoid ignorance and become open minded.
Build the ability to accept chaos - the truth is, in the real world unexpected and uncontrolled things happen. If you are a kind of person who wants to have control over every little thing, when uncontrollable things happen, you will be very disappointed, and you may experience feeling uncontrollably anxious and depressed.
Practice reinforcing boundaries - if you are a person who panics when someone is upset with you, then you need to set and reinforce boundaries. Avoid stretching yourself too thin trying to make other people happy just to spare your feelings and to prevent others from becoming upset with you. You need to create a healthy boundary between your own life and others by creating dedicated free time for your own business or life and to help others.
