Two Domains
Slowly but Surely (don't call me Shirley) Lol I'm now taking the plunge. I purchased two domains from GoDaddy this afternoon. I purchased each one with a two year commitment. I've been brain storming on some domain name ideas for a couple days and came up with two that I like and hopefully fit my website themes. I'm not ready to start building as I'm still viewing the lessons and videos but it's a cool feeling knowing that I now own some WWW real estate.
I'll keep everyone up to date and posted on my progress and thanks for all of your great encouragement and support.
Michael

I remember how I felt when I purchased my first domain -- it was a very good feeling... Congrats!!!!
Great job !!! If you are going into real estate keep me updated on your progress, I'm hoping to do the same maybe we can learn from each other but it going to take a minute to get where you are I'm new and have not started my training just yet I just upgraded today look forward to hearing from you Thanks an God Bless !!!
Not certain yet. I have done a lot of real estate photography in my commercial photography business. I know I'll have music sites. Thanks for keeping in touch.
Good job Michael, you're making good steady progress. Are you going to change your hosting to WA?
Marty
I didn't purchase hosting yet (not that GoDaddy didn't try and sell me one plus the kitchen sink). Probably will go with WA. I still need to ready up on the WA hosting plan. Is it a good one?
The WA hosting is included with your premium dues. It is free to transfer hosting then you can work on your site with in the WA dash board.
I transferred 2 Namecheap domains to WA. Your domains stay with Go daddy and just the hosting will change. Kyle does a training and Name Cheap also has a tutorial. I 'm not familiar with Godady.
I would not put any content on them till the hosting is changed as I did and it complicated things.

Hey Trumpet, congratz on your two domains, I also have two, one that even though my website is not ready for they are running 50% off right now so I could it for half price. To good not to grab it up.
Thanks very much for your comment. I love the "likes" and support I receive as it helps me feel I'm sort of heading in the right direction.
Hey, I am Jay from Webster Groves. I am not wealthy, I just happen to live here. Just some information for you... I have developed a procedure in which I start with a free Site Rubik's domain work it all up then transfer it to my domain. I probably have 50 domain. I have so many my administrator has a table so that we can keep up with the domain renewal dates. I even have one at Go Daddy.
Thanks for the tip.. I only went ahead and purchased these cause I thought they were good domain names (hard to come up with something unique that's not been taken) and didn't want anyone else to grab them up first before I got the chance to work on them. Does this make sense to you? I'm thinking we're on the same way of thinking. I will as you suggest build them first in Site Rubik and then when happy and satisfied with the look and feel of the site transfer to my domains. I'm a sponge so suggest other ideas as well. I'm here to study and learn. Thanks so much for your input. I got my domains for $2.99 for two year commitment and thought that was a good price. Just didn't want to pass it up.
We should meet somewhere like Talaynas on Hampton or Duffys on Clayton... and yes, buying domains I think is an excellent idea if you want to keep the names for yourself.

I also bought some extra domain names yesterday in preparation for building my next website. Come on, we CAN do this!
That sounds great. Good luck with them. We can all do this with much success.
