I have signed up for more newsletters than I can handle, lol. But this one caught my attention. Probably because it comes from one of the most widely recognized SEO experts and

It is all too easy to get taken in by all those newsletters .. unsubscribe to those you do not need, as for SEO I would not bother, you have everything you need to know here and Jay's live video's cover just about every aspect. get focused on here, learning and working on your site

It's a sham. Don't pay for that. Their site isn't even mobile optimized. If they don't follow basic SEO principles then you don't want to pay for it. Plus SEO is based off what search engines i.e. Google, Yahoo, and Bing say. Just follow their blogs and stuff like Moz and Searchengineland for true SEO principles and techniques.

Thank you

"industry endorsed" ? Hmmm.... I would have to investigate if that truly holds water. Do you know any SEO consultants that hold the very same certification? I have taken a ton of them and know that only the ones truly recognized by people earning money doing it are worth anything. I would certainly first check out all WA has to offer before making a decision on that.

Well I don't know what's endorsed or by whom but if you want to check its seocontentinstitute.com :-)
WA is my best bet for now :-)

I think this is the way to go. It seems very educational and ther is a lot of support here. Try this first and if it doesn't work then maybe look at other options. You can't lose anything here but time and get experience at the same time. I already had too many things going on before I got here unfortunately for me. loco

It has come to my attention that there usually is a Black Friday sale for yearly upgrade of $299. My monthly billing of $47 is due before that, and sadly I'm not sure if I will

See Robert has explained it to you

You will have to buy the month and then buy the yearly. Then WA will subtract the amount remaining from the montly that you had paid from the $299. So if you join yearly half way through your payment month $23.50 will be subtracted from $299.

Thank you for your clarifying answer. I think I have found a niche, but not sure if I have done enough research.. I have to keep going in WA, this is it, my turning point in life.

Awesome! You can do it!

I asked that question too as I worried about the same thing. The information I got back was to buy into the month and then buy annual Black Friday special ... It makes sense. My monthly is on auto renewal here. After I buy into the month gotta remember to remove the auto renewal I think. Never bought Black Friday special myself.

Thank you Apeng, I guess that will be the way to go but was not sure. It makes sense that I first have to reactivate premium membership before being able to get the Black Friday sale. Would save me some money as 47 is quite a lot over 12 months..not that its expensive at all, the training in here is actually worth so much more, considering all the (useless) expensive university courses out there..

I know affiliate links are not allowed in chat and blog posts within WA, but does this also apply to private messages? As, if someone sends me a private message here, promoting

only if you have the persons consent and its a no on here

Unsolicited promotional PMs fall under WA's rules against spamming fellow members. Affiliate links in PMs are also a violation.

1. No unsolicited messages to be sent through private messaging. This will lead to immediate removal of your ability to post anywhere within WA.

7. No adding affiliate links to any blog, training, discussion or private message

Thank you. Maybe I should report it as spam?

Perhaps that will be necessary -- Are these PMs unsolicited? Is this an ongoing pattern or a one-shot occurrence? Have you pointed out the violations to the sender?

If they're repeated occurrences, I would suggest reporting them since such emails are clearly violating WA's rules.

{added]
Are the emails coming from a starter member or a premium member? A brand new starter member may have signed up specifically for the purpose of spamming members.

Yes, by definition, Unsolicited - given or supplied without being requested or asked for: unsolicited advice.
I have politely replied to this email asking the member to consider the rules of WA.

In that case, a repeat of the practice would certainly warrant being reported.

I see now that this person and all messages has been removed from WA. There was another thread about this and Kyle has appearently taken care of it. Thank you for your attention.

I'm not sure about this one, but my guess is no. Although maybe it is, we'll have to see what others have to say. You should always send people to links of review pages though instead of sending Affiliate links because I don't think the internet likes that in general.

Thank you for the answer
